Decades of Flavor: Maria's West Pizza Keeps Tradition Alive
In the heart of Brantford, where the town's rhythm pulses through its historic streets, a culinary gem has stood the test of time.

Maria’s West Pizza
Maria's West Pizza, an unassuming yet beloved establishment, opened its doors in 1968. From that day forward, it began to weave itself into the very fabric of the community, becoming more than just a place to eat but a cherished haven of warmth, flavor, and tradition.

Maries West Pizza
Word spread quickly about the delectable offerings that emerged from Maria’s kitchen. The aroma of her homemade pizza, rich with the scent of fresh basil, tangy tomatoes, and melting mozzarella, would waft through the air, drawing people in from near and far.
Each pizza was a masterpiece, crafted with love and an unwavering commitment to quality. Maria never compromised on the ingredients she used, ensuring that every bite was a testament to her dedication to the culinary arts.
As time progressed, her daughter and husband took up the mantle, infusing the family tradition with their passion and creativity. They expanded the menu to include a variety of pasta dishes that soon became just as beloved as the original pizzas.
The addition of desserts added yet another dimension of delight. Decadent, velvety, and rich desserts provide the perfect sweet finish to a meal that is already a celebration of flavors.

Through the years, Maria's Pizza has remained a beacon of culinary excellence in Brantford.
In the heart of Brantford, Maria's West Pizza stands as a testament to the enduring power of good food to unite people. It is a place where every slice tells a story, every dish is a tribute to tradition, and every visit is a reminder of the simple joys that come from sharing a meal with loved ones.

Discover the Heart of Local Farming at Our Family-Run Farm
Elberta Farms Country Market has become a beloved destination in Brant County over the past 50 years. Founded in 1967 by Joe and Elizabeth Berta, the farm started with a simple roadside vegetable stand. Today, Andrew, Steve, Mike Berta, and their mother, Elizabeth, continue this tradition. Andrew fondly recalls their childhood filled with farm work, which instilled a love for the outdoors and a strong work ethic. The farm offers various locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and plants, supporting other local farms. Open year-round, Elberta Farms also features a petting zoo, making it a perfect spot for families.
Elberta Farms' success is not just about delivering high-quality, fresh local products; it's about community and family legacy. Elizabeth Berta, affectionately known as 'mom' by many customers, embodies this connection.
